Senior Test Lead Insurance Specialist

As a senior professional in software testing, you will be responsible for leading and guiding experienced testers within the insurance sector. This role requires strong expertise in hands-on test activities and effective collaboration with project teams.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for hands-on test activities across the insurance domain.
- Working closely with the Project Lead to integrate testing plans into the overall Project and Quality Plan.
- Coordinating daily test execution and reassigning fixed defects for retest.
- Providing accurate and timely reporting of status and progress against baseline schedule and test plans to Project Leaders/Managers.
- Coordinating and providing static test results for project documentation.
- Maintaining best practices for testing within the team and influencing the definition of best practice through team experience and feedback.
- Communicating plans, status, issues, and concerns through appropriate management systems.
- Must have extensive experience working in the insurance sector.
- Proven experience in leading and guiding senior insurance testers is required.
- Ideal candidates will have knowledge of test tools commonly used within the insurance domain such as Guidewide, Mulesoft, and Duck Creek.
- Willingness to work on-site in North Sydney 2-3 days per week is necessary.
