Bar Attendant Job Description

Delaware North Australia is seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join their team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and managing bar operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate cash and credit transfers throughout the shift, completing and storing opening or closing checklists as required
  • Maintain a clean bar environment, verify equipment functionality, and confirm proper stock rotation and inspection
  • Clearly inform guests of various liquor types, brands, products, characteristics, and prices, maintaining knowledge of in-house wines, spirits, monthly specials, and promotions
  • Manage bar food orders and serve beverages in correct glassware with precise measurement of alcohol
  • Record all spillage and wastage of stock and dispose of items properly in designated bins
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years bartending experience with proven skills and knowledge
  • Cocktail making experience is highly desirable with a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a bar environment such as a bottle shop
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling certificates are mandatory
