About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Atlassian. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend code that meets our standards for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, and ensure seamless integration with our backend systems.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.
  • Drive the success of projects from technical design to launch, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like React, AngularJS, or Vue.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
  • Extensive experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
