The Opportunity

To deliver innovative solutions, we seek a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join us in Sydney or Newcastle.

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will have extensive experience delivering complex engineering solutions in the water sector, with a proven track record in mechanical design, commissioning, and operations across large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will lead teams through all project phases, from planning to operational handover, providing technical leadership and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

  • Provide technical leadership during project delivery.
  • Collaborate with bid teams to ensure alignment of mechanical design.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to define scopes and engage vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior staff and manage client relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven leadership in mechanical design for water or wastewater treatment projects is essential, along with strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
