
Energy Storage Project Coordinator

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance in construction planning to the site team, interfacing and working with project site teams to minimize risk and maximize business performance.
- Construction Coordination: Coordinate all on-site construction activities related to BESS installation, including planning; site mobilisation; bulk earthworks; detailed civil works; inground earthing; mechanical installation of equipment and electrical cabling works, and pre-commissioning works and punch list close-out.
- Progress Reporting: Work closely with the project manager and provide daily feedback on construction progress and weekly reports.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards and procedures. Actively lead the site teams to promote and develop a strong Health and Safety culture from project conception to final completion.
- Documentation: Study all internal product documentation to familiarise with Fluence's core BESS equipment including all manuals and internal procedures.
- Collaboration: Work with client teams and meet contractual obligations, communicate regularly with internal project, safety, engineering, commissioning and business administration personnel.
- Staff Oversight: Oversee FLUENCE site staff, principal contractors, sub-contractors to ensure safety, quality and schedule are met.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Evaluate construction methods to determine cost-effectiveness of plans, implementing changes to ensure this.
- Problem-Solving: Respond to specific conditions on site, e.g. schedule delays, emergencies or other problems.
