About the Role

We are seeking a Home Care Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with acquired spinal cord injuries in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide domestic support including meal preparation, household duties, and laundry
  • Accompany clients on community outings and activities
  • Transfer clients safely using hoists and other equipment as required
Requirements
  • You must be an excellent listener and communicator
  • You should be able to work a fixed fortnightly roster
  • You need to hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
  • You must hold or be willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Experience in the field or relevant qualifications are highly desirable
