Job Details
The University of New South Wales is seeking a highly skilled Academic Educator to join its team in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and student experiences in the field of Design Engineering.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to specialize in Design Engineering education and contribute to the development of new teaching methodologies. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver outstanding teaching and student experiences, and to pursue initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and student experiences in Design Engineering
- Contribute to the development of new teaching methodologies and educational initiatives
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational excellence
- Engage with students and foster independent learning through meaningful assessment and feedback
Requirements
- PhD in Design Engineering or a related field
- Contemporary knowledge of Design Engineering discipline
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning Design Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
