About the Role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Rigger to join our Wireless Network team in Brisbane QLD. This role requires regular travel, overtime, and extended periods away from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Upgrade and modify existing wireless telecommunication sites, including Mobile, Fixed Wireless, and Broadcast.
  • Install and test hybrid cables, PIM test, sweep test, distance to fault, terminate feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors.
  • Read and interpret construction and As-built drawings, completing works to specification and standards.
  • Install and maintain antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers.

About You
  • Proven experience as a Telecommunication Rigger
  • Experience with NBN wireless, Optus, TPG (desirable)
  • Current intermediate or advanced rigging ticket
  • Ability to work with EWP and cranes
  • Working at heights and Perform Tower Rescue certified
