The Role

We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for managing safety on our construction sites, leading by example, and working collaboratively with the site team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures;
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards;
• Providing training and guidance to site staff on safety protocols and procedures;
• Collaborating with the site team to develop and implement safety plans and procedures;
• Monitoring and reporting on safety performance and identifying areas for improvement;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on safety matters.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Work Place Health and Safety or similar;
• Strong leadership and communication skills;
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry;
• A trade qualification is highly desirable;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proven track record of influencing a diverse group of people.
