We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Scientist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our laboratory and contribute to our team's success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cytogenomic and/or molecular genetic testing, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.

They will be responsible for working on a comprehensive range of routine testing, specimen preparation, analysis and reporting of referrals by cytogenomic and/or molecular technologies.

Additionally, they will participate in internal and external quality assurance programs, continue their education and develop skills in new areas of genomics.

• A Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in cytogenomic and/or molecular genetic testing would be advantageous.
• Recognised professional qualification in Clinical Cytogenetics or molecular genomics is desirable.
• A high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality and accountability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
