Key Responsibilities- We are looking for someone with strong skills in developing stable and reliable graphics code, including expertise in modern graphics APIs such as Vulkan, Metal or D3D12.
- You will guide and support junior team members to help them grow professionally.
- The ideal candidate will identify and implement improvements to existing graphics systems.
- You will work closely with Art and Design teams to create streamlined graphics systems that meet project requirements.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our game development studio in Sydney, Australia.
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years of low-level software development experience, preferably with at least 2 years in the video games industry or a related field.
- You should have a strong theoretical knowledge of 3D rendering techniques and high proficiency in C++ and STL.
- The ability to communicate ideas clearly and document your work is essential.
- Experience using graphics system analysis toolchains would be an asset.
- A deep understanding of game technology areas such as animation, AI or physics would be beneficial.
- We welcome candidates with one or more shipped game titles under their belt.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 would be highly valued.
- Scripting languages like Lua or Python would also be an advantage.
