About the Role:This position supports a joint department of defense program in Alice Springs, Australia. The successful candidate will represent an international medical services provider and provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse population.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality medical services comparable to those offered by a facility medical officer during clinic hours and as needed.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans with patients.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with professional guidelines and state laws.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to health information management policies.
- Ensure continuity of care through prompt provision of comprehensive medical services.
- Provide excellent customer service to support patients' healthcare needs.
- Coordinate referrals for services not available on-site.
- Review incoming reports, sign, date, and follow up promptly.
- Contribute to updates of medical protocols and practices as required.
- Participate in external medical public relations activities.
- Commit to ongoing learning and staying current with medical advancements.
