Senior Cyber Security Manager

As a seasoned IT leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity in a prestigious Victorian government agency.

The successful candidate will develop and drive business-critical cybersecurity projects that contribute to the agency's legacy by implementing effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and frameworks.

This is an initial contracting role until the end of the financial year, with a strong likelihood of extension or a more permanent role available thereafter. The daily rate is competitive and in line with public sector rates, and flexible working arrangements are available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive cybersecurity strategy across the agency.
  • Present to, educate, and update executives and stakeholders on cybersecurity initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in policy, risk, and governance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity within a Victorian government setting.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior leaders.
