OSHC Qualified Assistant Director

Description

Are you passionate about delivering quality care and education to children? We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Professional to join our team at Riverbanks College B-12 OSHC.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in OSHC, with the ability to design and deliver stimulating programs and activities that foster a supportive and fun environment for children to develop their social, emotional, and interpersonal skills.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to take your career to the next level and make a lasting impact on the lives of children. You will be working closely with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for providing high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging programs and activities that promote child development and well-being;
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of children;

Requirements

  • ACECQA approved qualification;
  • Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care" Training;
  • HLTAID009 CPR;
    HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care;
    Food Handling Training;
    SMART Training;
  • Knowledge of responsibilities under Child Safe Environments compliance;
  • Sound knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework;
