Student Support Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Student Support Officer to join our team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work closely with the student support manager to provide clear orientation and guidance to students regarding the support services available to them.

  • Working with the student support manager to provide clear orientation and guidance to students
  • Referring students to relevant academic staff for academic support services
  • Providing advice to students in person via front desk operations and online
  • Understanding the importance of inclusion, equality, and diversity
  • Providing information to students about taking care of their well-being and safety
  • Assisting in the planning for and provision of support to students with disabilities and/or additional needs

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer and digital literacy
  • Show initiative

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
