About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Health, Safety & Environment team. You will be responsible for assisting the HSE Manager and HSE Specialist in reviewing HSE management system and training content, updates, and deployment. You will also gain experience and provide support in various HSE activities including systems, audits, campaigns, and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing broad exposure, understanding, and learning of a HSE function in a multinational organisation
  • Assisting the HSE Manager and HSE Specialist in reviewing HSE management system and training content, updates, and deployment
  • Gaining experience and provide support in various HSE activities including systems, audits, campaigns, and training
  • Participating in the development and implementation of an effective HSE management system through review and updating of content in line with legislation and relevant standards (i.e., policy and procedure content review)
  • Maintaining HSE statistical data (toolbox, EHS Database entry)
  • Assisting with ISO audit preparations and post-audit action plan tracking.
Requirements
  • Be currently enrolled in and completed units towards an Undergraduate degree in studies within WHS or similar relevant degree (i.e., Cert 4, Diploma or Bachelors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Previous work experience, especially in a team or professional environment is highly regarded
  • Familiarity with SAP highly regarded but not essential
  • Good research ability and be well-organised, positive, with a can-do attitude
  • Results-oriented approach and a drive to achieve outcomes.
