About This Role

\
  • Oversee all engineering operations across the hotel's interior and exterior facilities, ensuring seamless facilities management and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead a team to maintain and improve facilities to meet safety and sustainability standards.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs and monitor services performed by outside contractors.
  • Work with departments like Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan, implement, and manage effective preventive maintenance and energy management programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building and facilities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and identify cost-saving measures.

Requirements

  • Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical trade qualified with advanced knowledge of building management/engineering.
  • Motivated and self-driven with a passion for delivering consistency and quality.
  • Available 24/7 in case of an emergency and flexible with rostering.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Possess knowledge of government regulations and technical rules.
  • Previous experience in facilities management, preferably within Hotels and Hospitality.
  • A hands-on and approachable leader with experience managing and training a team.
  • Experience in high-rise commercial facilities is a plus.
