We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to young people aged 12-25, focusing on social and emotional wellbeing challenges.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity with a possibility of extension. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering care coordination and counselling interventions using evidence-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide contemporary youth-focused mental health services using professional knowledge and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team triage and case review processes, ensuring timely access and referrals.
  • Develop and monitor individual treatment and care plans, completing case management tasks efficiently.
  • Deliver time-limited psychotherapy and instruction, supervision, and psychosocial education to young people and their support networks.
  • Assess mental health needs and formulate therapeutic plans, prioritising family-inclusive practice.
  • Ensure timely referrals and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

About You

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling.
