About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and empathetic Nursing Assistant to join our team at Regis Wynnum. As a Nursing Assistant, you'll provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful and tailored support to residents, empowering their independence and dignity
  • Monitor residents' preferences, needs, and wellbeing, escalating any changes to ensure timely interventions
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care, promoting dignity and comfort
  • Offer social and emotional support, creating meaningful connections with residents and their families
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver outstanding service, making a positive impact in our community

Requirements

  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies
  • Prior experience in aged care is an advantage, but we'll provide training for the right candidate
  • A commitment to holistic care, supporting residents in achieving their goals and meeting their needs
