Career Opportunity: Kitchen Steward

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Steward. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional service to our guests.

This role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen, including the upkeep of dishware, utensils, and workspaces. You will also be responsible for rubbish removal, sweeping, and mopping of kitchen floors, as well as disinfecting and cleaning equipment according to established procedures.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will provide valuable support to our kitchen team by assisting with various tasks such as basic food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings.

To be successful in this role, you will require practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning, as well as an enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude and a positive motivated demeanour. You will also need to be able to thrive working within a diverse team in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with your availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
