About the RoleWe are seeking a fully registered physiotherapist to join our team as a mobile community physiotherapist. As a member of our team, you will work with senior clients (65+) in their own homes, helping them to rediscover the joy of movement, improve their confidence, and achieve personal health goals that are meaningful to them.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and identify what is important to your client
- Develop meaningful goal plans in collaboration with the client
- Provide targeted, client-centered therapy
- Celebrate with clients once they achieve their goal
- Liaise with clients, families, carers, case managers, and health professionals to ensure everyone is up to date on progress
- Physiotherapy Degree
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Valid 'Aged Care' police check
- Valid Drivers licence
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Flu Vaccination
- Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
- Strong communication skills/high empathy
- Ability to have fun and be a part of a close-knit team
- Travel and device reimbursements
- Up to 2 weeks of shadowing another TPCer when you first start
- Your very own Team Leader to support you every step of the way
- A TPC buddy for 3-6 months
- Weekly coaching for 12 months
- A rhythm of connecting with other TPCers on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis
