Folder Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Folder Operator to join our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining folding equipment to deliver high-quality print finishing products.

The role involves working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure exceptional results for clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Folding Equipment Operation: Setting up and operating folding machines (e.g., Stahl, MBO, Horizon) to produce high-quality print finishes.
  • Quality Control: Monitoring production for accuracy, quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolving machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Maintenance: Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with the production team to meet schedules and targets.

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a Folder Operator in a commercial print environment. You should have strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Reliable, adaptable and a strong team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
