Job Title: Temporary Emergency And Ongoing Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled coordinator to join our team. The role involves liaison with community organizations, individuals and families to meet temporary staffing needs.

The coordinator will be responsible for managing a large staff pool and matching staff to requests for services.

This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent customer service, database management and knowledge of disability supports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Taking requests and matching support staff with individuals requiring support
  • Recruitment and selection, training and induction of support staff
  • Supporting and monitoring support staff, including the management of incidents
  • Administration requirements such as accuracy of staff timesheets
  • Providing out-of-hours on call support as part of a roster of coordinators

Requirements:

  • Experience working with people with disability and coordinating their supports
  • Broad experience in communities/disabilities sector
  • Reliable, friendly and warm with a mature and positive nature
  • High level of computer literacy

Certifications:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to attain
  • Working with Children Positive Notice Blue Card or ability to attain
  • Quality, Safety and You, NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or ability to attain
  • First Aid Certificate + CPR Certificate or ability to attain
