Focal Community Living Inc is committed to providing high-quality disability support services to individuals in the Ipswich and greater Region. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

In this role, you will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence and community participation. You will also provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.

Key Skills and Qualities:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Empathy and compassion towards people with disabilities
  • Patience, understanding, and resilience

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Disability Services
  • Prior experience working in disability services and in palliative care
  • A current valid driver's license, NDIS Worker Screening, Blue Card, CPR, and First Aid Certificate
