The role of the Retail Sales Team Leader is to provide exceptional customer service and lead their department in achieving sales goals.


About the Role

This position supports the management team by leading a team of sales associates and working closely with the store's leadership to maintain standards and results within their department.


  • Model excellent customer service skills, delivering a positive experience for every customer
  • Coach team members to deliver outstanding service and a 'service-oriented' environment
  • Drive sales performance, conversion rates, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure shop floor product availability
  • Maintain company retail standards and deliver visually appealing store displays
  • Support the management team in improving financial performance within their department
  • Support the management team in implementing all internal and external profit protection processes
  • Assist with new team member onboarding and ongoing training programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or a related industry

2. A passion for delivering an exceptional service experience for customers

3. A positive attitude, with the ability to create a motivating environment for the team

4. Excellent time management skills to ensure daily priorities are met in a timely manner

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
