We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to spearhead our Launceston Automation team. The primary objective of this role is to oversee the delivery of high-quality engineering services to our clients, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
">Key Responsibilities">- Lead the team in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Mentor and advise team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in technical work as required to ensure project success.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate high-quality engineering work.
- A strong focus on safety, adhering to and promoting all relevant policies and procedures.
- An unwavering commitment to quality service and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- The ability to maintain professional currency through ongoing learning and development.
Desirable qualifications include:
">- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant project management experience and methodologies.
- Industrial/manufacturing environment experience.
- Low voltage electrical design expertise.
- PLC, RTU & control systems experience.
- HMI, SCADA and MES platforms experience.
