Renewable Energy Solutions IT Expert job in Australia

**Your new role**

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading business that has a meaningful purpose of accelerating Australia's transition to a renewable energy future.

You will have full autonomy in the role, and be surrounded and supported by market leading experts in their respective fields. Preferably based in Hobart, there will be the opportunity to travel and see all operational sites in Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop robust, contemporary, competitive and compliant IT strategy, planning, design and implementation for IT systems and support aligned with growth strategy, operational needs and energy market operational realities.
  • Deliver leading edge and effective information management systems and processes to support data driven decision making and data management protocols.
  • Ensure provision of day to day advice, guidance and operational support services.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Minimum 10 years experience in a commercial IT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing and delivering IT strategy, design, implementation and service excellence.
  • Working knowledge of the energy industry.
  • Cyber security, information management and delivering IT services knowledge.
  • Highly motivated and self directed, personable and adaptable individual.
