A senior academic leadership position exists for a Banking and Finance expert to join the Faculty of Business and Economics.
Job Summary:- A continuing appointment as a Professor and Head of Department for an initial period of three (3) years with opportunity for renewal.
- Lead the Department of Banking and Finance in achieving its strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative research and education programs that align with the Faculty's strategic priorities.
- Mentor and support early career researchers and postgraduate students.
- Engage with external agencies to build robust partnerships and secure funding opportunities.
- A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.
- An internationally recognised research profile in Banking and Finance, evidenced by high-impact publications and sustained scholarly engagement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to mentor staff, collaborate effectively with academic peers, and represent the department across faculty and University committees.
