Research Ecologist

About the Role:
This is a key position for an experienced research technician to manage a dynamic lab researching plant evolutionary ecology in the field of biology. The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of research projects, including lab and fieldwork, working closely with students and researchers in the group.
About the Team:
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are essential. We require someone with a BSc minimum and relevant experience in lab and field ecology and operation of micrometeorological and environmental physiology equipment. A love of working outdoors is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dynamic lab researching plant evolutionary ecology. This will include contributing to a wide range of research projects, including lab and fieldwork, working closely with students and researchers in the group. They will also be responsible for developing productive relationships with colleagues and clients, and using their highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management to ensure the smooth running of the lab.
