Design Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead the development of Class 1 Home dwelling residential product designs. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and operational requirements.

  • Manage and optimize our existing library of master designs as required.
  • Mentor and guide a team of designers to achieve consistent and compliant designs within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams to obtain design briefs and establish the pipeline of upcoming work.
  • Oversee the management of new product designs into the Rawson library.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver timely projects for display home designs.

The successful candidate will have excellent client relationship skills, refined design outcomes, and contribute to the strategic growth of the product offering. They will possess strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in stakeholder management to achieve positive outcomes.

This role requires formal qualifications in architecture or building design, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar leadership position. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, residential construction techniques, cost, Australian Standards, and building legislation.
