The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Registrar to join our team at a leading hospital in Tasmania.

As a Medical Registrar, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the hospital. You will work under the direction and supervision of Consultants and Senior Medical Staff, providing great support to learn and develop ED skills.

WBA – Work place based assessment can be offered as an opportunity for those that require.

The Facility

Established in 1804, our hospital holds the distinction of being Australia's second oldest healthcare facility. It stands as a prominent hub for clinical education, research, and collaboration with the University of Tasmania. The hospital offers accredited training opportunities in various fields, including anaesthetics, hyperbaric medicine, paediatrics, and ICU.

Requirements

* General, Provisional or Limited registration with AHPRA registration/ able to obtain AHPRA registration.
* SIMG's that have been assessed by ACEM and deemed partially or substantially comparable.
* IMG's that have completed the AMC MCQ (part 1)
* IMG's that are eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (work experience in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
