Role Overview
You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team at the Langmore Centre, providing evidenced-based psychology services to clients. Ensuring practice is in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia Code of Ethics and the Centre's policies and guidelines.
As a specialist in the assessment and diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), you will play a key role in leading the development of and providing our ADHD programs, including specialist assessment, inpatient group therapy programs, Day Program, and education to staff.
This is a permanent part-time role, with hours negotiable for the suitable candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment using specialist instruments to assist with the diagnosis of ADHD and/or other differentiating diagnoses.
- Develop and provide inpatient and day programs that support and acknowledge the unique needs of the neurodivergent population.
- Support and provide education to other clinical staff.
- Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to foster a holistic and inclusive approach to mental health.
- Provide individualised and group clinical care based on professional training, reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
- Provide comprehensive assessment and care planning, monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment accordingly.
- Evaluate clinical outcomes and participate in research activities as required.
- Liaise with all staff to promote effective communication, including verbal and written feedback to referring doctors.
- Familiarise and comply with legal, ethical responsibilities to patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
You will have Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and experience as a clinical psychologist, educational psychologist, or neuropsychologist.
To succeed, you will have training in the required specialist assessment tools and experience in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and other differentiating diagnoses.

- Salary: $89,122-$102,632 (pro rata for part-time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Permanent part-time role, flexible with days for the suitable candidate, with a minimum commitment of at least 2 days per week.
