We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Ability Action Australia, delivering Allied Health support across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist NDIS participants and their families in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support spaces
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework
  • Ensure individual plans reflect NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths
  • Build knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants
  • Act as an advocate and role model for best practice
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • Completed degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
  • Report writing experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive attitude and genuine passion for working in the disability sector
