Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our North Metro team. As a BSP, you will play a vital role in advocating for and supporting participants with disabilities, helping them to achieve their desired outcomes and live fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based support plans, utilising a positive behaviour support framework to eliminate restrictive practices.



Key Responsibilities



  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans that promote participant autonomy and dignity
  • Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives, including family, carers, and friends
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated support


Requirements



  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional (OT, Speech, Social Work)
  • Experience creating, implementing, and reviewing behaviour support plans
  • Core, Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
