Our Autonomous Road Trains project is a world-first initiative to deploy and operate a fleet of 120 fully autonomous vehicles across 150km of haulage operations. As an Autonomous Technology Specialist, you will play a critical role in the success of this project, working closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of onboard technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols and risk management strategies to minimize accidents or incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of onboard technologies
- Operate the autonomous road trains across all areas of the haulage operation, including loading, traveling, tipping, refueling, and marshaling
Requirements:
- A STEM Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and understand data
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Passion for and understanding of autonomous technologies
