Railway Terminal Coordinator

About the Role:
Aurizon is seeking a skilled Terminal Operator to join our team in Alice Springs. As a Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the loading and unloading of trains within terminals and sidings, ensuring safe-working and operational procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Forklifts and Reach Stackers to perform operational duties as required for container movements and train loading/unloading.
- Forward planning of terminal service requirements for scheduled trains, including conducting basic marshalling activities.
- Performing train and equipment inspections to ensure all road and rail transit documentation has been completed and received.
- Updating the Transport Management System and processing customer trucks through the gate as required.
- Induction of customers and contractors at the terminal.

- High attention to detail and ability to maintain safety and quality documentation.
