Rehabilitation Medical Officer Position

The hospital is part of a group that focuses on innovation and clinical best practice, resulting in strong growth and expansion of services.

This position involves providing medical cover on the Rehabilitation Ward as a Ward CMO in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in patient assessment, management, and escalation as required.
  • Support clinical governance and quality improvement within rehabilitation services.

The successful candidate will possess qualifications and experience to undertake roles required of a Ward CMO.

They will have a strong understanding of the Rehabilitation Model of Care and be able to identify deviations in diagnostic results and take appropriate action.

A suitable candidate will have previous experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a rehabilitation ward, and be proficient in using hospital computer data systems.

Requirements:
  • Current Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights.
  • Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health regulations.
  • Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience adequate to undertake the roles required of a Ward CMO.
