Waste Management Professional

The role of a Waste Management Professional is multifaceted and involves the operation of various machinery and vehicles to manage and compact waste. This includes excavators, front-end loaders, compactors, and forklifts.

Responsibilities include driving site vehicles to transport waste and recyclables across the facility, handling incoming waste, screening and sorting waste, and working across both landfill and transfer station operations.

  • Operational Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of machinery to manage and compact waste.
  • Drive site vehicles to transport waste and recyclables.

  • Work across both landfill and transfer station operations.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, pushing waste, and managing different waste streams.
  • Inspect customer loads to determine appropriate disposal methods.
