We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Reliability team at our Bentley site in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all factory maintenance and service functions are carried out efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Reliability Team Leader to maintain and improve our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support to the site, ensuring all work meets high standards
  • Coach other team members on using and maintaining equipment
  • Enter completed tasks and book spare parts into our maintenance system (MEX)
  • Support BEX-related activities and initiatives, including Focus Improvement Project, 5S, and Teamwork
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety requirements
  • Support New Product Development activities
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – mechanical and/or electrical trade
  • Commitment to making safety a priority and leading a safety-first culture
  • Ability to actively participate in the Bega people processes
  • A broad understanding of processing and packaging in the FMCG industry
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical control and instrumentation
