Senior Sustainability Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to lead our team in guiding clients toward a more sustainable and low-carbon future.

About the Role:
  • Lead client programs and project delivery, driving sustainable building performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments and energy audits to optimize building efficiency.
  • Develop and implement Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings, enhancing their environmental impact.
  • Deliver NABERS evaluations and improvement plan development, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Support Green Star certification projects, applying expertise to achieve high standards.
  • Optimize HVAC systems and renewable energy integration, leveraging mechanical engineering expertise.
  • Produce high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and analytical models.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and delivering results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, driving business success.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, maintaining a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in mechanical building services consultancy, building design, or operations, with a proven track record.
  • Experience with Green Star Performance and/or Green Star Interiors rating tools, demonstrating expertise.
  • A strong background in Net Zero Carbon strategy or NABERS Improvement Plan development, showcasing knowledge.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.
  • Project management experience, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and drive project success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Building performance simulation experience (IES or similar), adding depth to your expertise.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership, signifying professional commitment.
  • Green Star Accredited Professional certification, highlighting your dedication to sustainability.
  • NABERS Assessor accreditation, demonstrating your ability to assess and improve building performance.
  • CBD Accreditation, showing your understanding of urban planning and development.
