Data Engineer Design Specialist

About the RoleAs a Data Engineer Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end big data solutions using Hadoop ecosystems, Teradata platforms, and other relevant technologies. You will work closely with our data teams to provide direction and guidance on data modeling, data governance, and data quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data models using data modeling techniques such as Data Vault, Kimball, and 3NF.
- Implement data warehousing and enterprise analytics-based solutions using Teradata or relevant data platforms.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data and data analytics.
- Strong experience in data modeling, big data platforms, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystems, Teradata platforms, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
