Entry-Level Accounting Position

The role of a Graduate Accountant is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious accounting students or graduates to gain hands-on experience in a client-focused and team-driven environment.

  • Key responsibilities include shadowing and learning from experienced professionals, engaging in a supportive and healthy team environment, benefiting from a team-oriented approach and strong mentorship, and working on simple accounting tasks and jobs increasing in complexity as you grow.

As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced accountants and directors, gaining insight into how our organization operates. You will learn about drafting tax estimate spreadsheets, preparing BAS, financial statements and returns, lodging information to the ATO, and various other accounting tasks.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that offers a unique opportunity for growth and development. As a Graduate Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and activities;
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports and statements;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field;
  • Relevant work experience in accounting or a related field (preferably in a small business or startup setting);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
