Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated community-focused individual to connect and support older people in Bright, Myrtleford, and Mount Beauty.

  • Provide compassionate home-based care by building trust and taking the lead to support individuals to live as independently as possible at home and stay connected to their community.
  • Individualized care tailored to suit the personal needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care to our clients including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Offer general home support and light housekeeping duties, assistance with meal preparations, and companionship.
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude, empathy for, and understanding of the needs of the elderly.
  • Patience and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
  • Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships with each client.
  • Reliable, responsive, efficient, confident, and proactive.
  • Value and enjoy the company of older people.
Preferred Requirements
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable car, comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Test.
  • Level 2 First Aid.
  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have a Right to Work in Australia.
