This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a clinical nurse specialist in critical care. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that provides high-quality patient care.
As a critical care outreach team service clinical nurse specialist grade 2, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and skills in the detection, management, and evaluation of care of previously, potentially or actual critically ill patients in general ward and critical care areas.
You will work closely with senior medical teams and nursing staff to formulate plans of care and provide education and support to staff and the community.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years post-graduate experience in adult critical care with relevant tertiary qualification in critical care or working towards same.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can articulate and achieve a vision for nursing services in the critical care environment.
The ideal candidate will also have a proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through planning quality and quality management.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have a certificate in Adult Advance Life Support.
