As a professional in the field of Employee Relations, you will play a key role in providing operational, tactical, and specialist advice to our office on a diverse range of ER issues. The role involves supporting with enterprise bargaining and other projects while maintaining positive employee relations, best practice, and legislative compliance.

Reporting to the Senior Employee Relations Consultant, you will provide support and advice on a wide variety of people activities including industrial issues, disputes, and case management. You will also be responsible for assisting in maintaining positive employee relations, best practice, and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational, tactical, and specialist advice to the office on a diverse range of ER issues
  • Support with enterprise bargaining and other projects
  • Maintain positive employee relations, best practice, and legislative compliance
  • Assist in resolving industrial issues, disputes, and case management

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Prior experience working with Employee Relations, including experience working on ER cases and workplace investigations, is highly regarded. Knowledge of industrial law and/or the higher education sector is also beneficial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified (or working towards qualification) in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Law, or related field
  • Prior experience working with Employee Relations, including experience working on ER cases and workplace investigations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of industrial law and/or the higher education sector
