Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at W Brisbane. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails, wines, and beers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Provide engaging, personal, and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Cocktail Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and beers, using high-quality ingredients and techniques.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are always available and that waste is minimized.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all sales are recorded and that change is provided as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
  • Cocktail Knowledge: Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beers, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
