Job Overview

The Senior Test Automation Engineer- Cloud role is responsible for designing and building automated test frameworks to verify the functionality and performance of AWS data services.

This includes creating complex automation scripts using Python, pytest and other relevant libraries to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to customers.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing automated test strategies, approaches and methods to meet project objectives.
  • Creating and maintaining complex automation frameworks to verify functionality and performance of AWS services such as AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, Iceberg Tables, AWS Data Migration Service (DMS), Amazon S3, Redshift, and Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality outcomes and deliver results-driven solutions.
  • Providing progress reports, highlighting anomalies and risks & issues associated with the overall project or release.

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency in building test strategies, planning, test approaches, and methods.
  • Test design using in-depth technical analysis of functional and non-functional specifications, requirements and solution architecture.
  • Experience working in an environment with a structured test process, performing automated system and non-functional testing.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
