Community Services is a rapidly evolving sector, and experienced Youth Workers are in high demand. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered support to Children and Young People and their families.

  • This role involves working with Children and Young People who are involved with the Department of Child Safety, providing safe transportation, and supervising family contact shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a minimum Certificate IV level qualification in a Child/Youth/Community Service related field (evidence of enrollment must be provided) or hold a completed qualification in this field
  • A current Blue Card
  • A current National Police Check
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • A vehicle with full comprehensive vehicle insurance and an Australian driver's license
  • Regular availability for day and evening shifts, and weekend shifts
  • An entry-level of reporting skills and computer literacy
