Denodo Data Virtualization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Denodo Data Virtualization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data virtualization solutions using the Denodo platform. You will work closely with data architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated and accessible data assets that drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Data Virtualization Solutions: Design and implement data virtualization solutions using the Denodo platform, adhering to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Develop and Maintain Virtual Data Models: Develop and maintain virtual data models, views, and APIs to provide access to disparate data sources.
  • Optimize Denodo Performance: Optimise Denodo performance through query optimisation, caching strategies, and resource management.
  • Integrate with Existing Infrastructure: Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to integrate Denodo with existing data infrastructure and data pipelines.
  • Translate Business Requirements: Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data virtualization solutions.
  • Implement Data Security and Governance: Implement data security and governance policies within the Denodo environment.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot Denodo performance and availability issues.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on Denodo best practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with the latest Denodo features and capabilities.
  • Documentations: Create and maintain technical documentation related to Denodo implementations.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Data Integration and Management: 7+ years of experience in data integration and data management.
  • Denodo Platform: 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Denodo platform, including design, development, and administration.
  • Data Virtualization Concepts: Strong understanding of data virtualization concepts and principles.
  • SQL and Data Modeling Techniques: Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Various Data Sources: Experience with various data sources, including relational databases, cloud data warehouses, and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Data Security and Governance: Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
