Construction Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving MR trucks and assisting with concreting duties.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive MR trucks and assist with concreting duties
  • Complete finishing duties, including cleaning and preparing job sites
  • Use hand tools and load/unload equipment
  • Maintain work equipment and assist with infrastructure maintenance

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • MR or HR licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • White card
  • Traffic control licence
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and working outdoors
  • Previous experience with concreting (mandatory)
  • Availability Monday to Friday
